Tragic: D'banj loses one year old son in his swimming pool

D’Banj’s son Daniel Oyebanjo III died after he drowned in a swimming pool at the family residence in Ikoyi. Here is a photo of D’Banj posing beside the swimming pool in his house. The customized swimming pool has D’banj’s signature DB logo engraved at the bottom. The music star had taken to his Instagram page on April 1st to post this photo of himself standing beside the pool. Reports say this is the same swimming pool where his son’s tragic death occurred. The corpse of the child has been reportedly moved to the morgue. D’banj was in Los Angeles to attend the 2018 BET Awards when the death of his son occurred. The singer marked the first birthday of his son, in May. Meanwhile some insensitive fans are throwing tantrums and blaming the couple for the child’s death. One Sheun on Nairaland wrote “But was no one around? How Mamuzee Twins Killed Their Own Mother

A sister of Nigerian singers, the Mamuzee Twins, has made a fresh allegation about how the singing duo killed their mother. It will be recalled that during the week, the singing duo Mamuzee Twins were called out on social media by Daddy Showkey who accused them of neglecting their mother for 17 years until she died at the Igando General Hospital, Lagos, a few days ago. While the singers decided to keep mum till their mother is buried, the last child of the family, Augusta, who was present during the old woman’s final hour, told Saturday Beats that their mother’s death was caused by the singing twins. 35 years old bus conductor remanded for defiling 5-year-old girl in Lagos

Chidi Opara, a 35-year-old bus conductor, who allegedly defiled a five-year-old has been remanded at Kirikiri Prisons by an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court on Monday. Opara, who resides at Iyana- Iba, Lagos, is being charged for child defilement. ASP Ezekiel Ayorinde, the Police prosecutor told the court that Opara committed the offence on June 10 at Iba area of Lagos. He said that Opara unlawfully had carnal knowledge of the minor. “The accused visited the brother of the girl in his absence. He called the girl into her brother’s room, removed her pant and had sexual intercourse with her,” Ayorinde said. Young man stabbed while rescuing lady from suspected cultists in Port-Harcourt

A man identified as Ekanem Ukeme, recently escaped death after he was stabbed multiple times by two suspected cultists. Ukeme was said to have been stabbed after he approached the suspects who were physically abusing a lady at Woji, Port Harcourt, Rivers state. He was said to have walked in on the suspects in the act when he made a bold move by stepping in to protect the lady. The attackers reportedly transferred their anger on him and stabbed him with knives and bottles. He managed to take to his heels, running into a church to save himself as the suspects ran after him. He was later rushed to a hospital while the attackers escaped .
