35 years old bus conductor remanded for defiling 5-year-old girl in Lagos

Chidi Opara, a 35-year-old bus conductor, who allegedly defiled a five-year-old has been remanded at Kirikiri Prisons by an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court on Monday. Opara, who resides at Iyana- Iba, Lagos, is being charged for child defilement. ASP Ezekiel Ayorinde, the Police prosecutor told the court that Opara committed the offence on June 10 at Iba area of Lagos. He said that Opara unlawfully had carnal knowledge of the minor. “The accused visited the brother of the girl in his absence. He called the girl into her brother’s room, removed her pant and had sexual intercourse with her,” Ayorinde said.
